Who needs their own AIS tester?

An annual AIS inspection is required before inspection, and an operational one is required after any repair or replacement of the units. The service call does not pay off immediately every time; its device is profitable when there are several ships: the inspection takes minutes and does not require the removal of equipment from the board.

The tester is connected via an antenna path (via an attenuator) or works via ether, simulating marine targets. The results show the state of the receiver and transmitter of the station and whether adjustment is necessary before the arrival of the inspector.

How is the annual check and what is recorded in the protocol - in the section “Technical guide and articles”.
