How do I find out which magnetron my radar needs?
Send us at e-mail radar brand (Furuno FR-/FAR-/FCR-, JRC JMA-3300/5312/9100, Sperry BridgeMaster/VisionMaster, KODEN MDC-7912P etc.) and transmitter serial number — we will find a compatible magnetron. By marking: M13xx–M16xx, MAF/MSF, 9M31, 2J55 — New JRC (now Nisshinbo Micro Devices, Japan), MG — Teledyne e2v (UK). Power: 2–6 kW for river and small vessels, 10–30 kW for medium, 50 kW for large IMO vessels. Frequency: 9405/9440 MHz — X-Band (short and medium range), 3050 MHz — S-Band (long range and bad weather). Average service life is 2,000–6,000 hours.
What are RMRS, RKO and RRR certificates?
RMRS (Russian Maritime Register of Shipping) — national classification society, recognized IMO and IACS, for marine vessels under RF flag and CIS. RKO (Russian Classification Society) — classification of river and mixed (river-sea) vessels. RRR (Russian River Register) — inland waterways. Without the proper certificate, equipment formally fails the survey and the inspector will reject the installation. For every item we state the actual certificate, so you know in advance what you get.
Can I buy a Sperry Marine or JRC spare part without the exact part number?
Yes — this is exactly our main scenario. Send to e-mail photo of the unit + radar serial number + photo of the part's nameplate (even if worn, partial digits are often visible). We will find the original or a proven equivalent. 20+ years of experience — we recognise even badly worn markings. If you are not sure which part is faulty, describe the symptoms (for example “the radar picture flickers”, “the antenna does not rotate”, “no GPS data on screen”) and we will suggest what to check.
Cobham SAILOR — new or used equipment?
Both, and each item is clearly marked. New — new, from delivery kit, in original packaging. Used — used, removed from an active vessel, bench-tested. Restored — refurbished in service center (replaced boards, bearings, display). Defect — for restoration or for parts, with a fault description and a discount. Price tied to condition — no hidden surprises.
Sperry Marine BridgeMaster E is being discontinued. Does it make sense to buy spare parts?
Yes, absolutely. BridgeMaster E is fitted on thousands of ships worldwide — tankers, container ships, bulk carriers — and will keep working for another 15–20 years. Official dealers are gradually closing their stock programmes, which makes us one of the few sources of spare parts for this radar. All our items are either original or bench-restored. For every item we can send photos and a test report before payment.
Sperry NAVIGAT or Yokogawa CMZ — which to choose?
Both are top-class gyrocompasses, both IMO-certified. Sperry NAVIGAT X Mk2 — American classic, fiber-optic sensor, most stable and reliable on mid and large fleets. Yokogawa CMZ-900 / CMZ-700 — a Japanese design, slightly more accurate in heading (±0.1° versus ±0.2° for Sperry), handles vibration better, popular on bulk carriers and gas carriers. Choose by what is already on board: changing brand means replacing repeaters and recalibration, which takes months. We have spare parts for all three brands.
How long does delivery take and how does payment work?
Shipment within 1–3 business days after the order is confirmed. Within Russia — by the carriers Delovye Linii and CDEK; to Kazakhstan — by agreement. A full set of closing documents: UPD (or invoice + delivery note), equipment certificates, RMRS/RKO passports. Payment by bank transfer with VAT (for companies) is standard. Private customers and small orders — by agreement. 100% prepayment after price and availability are agreed.
Do you have GMDSS batteries and how are they replaced?
Yes, the Cobham GMDSS section has SAILOR 6130 batteries (24 V for the main GMDSS peripherals). Replacement strictly on the SOLAS schedule, every 5 years (or earlier if capacity drops). Important: when replacing, keep a paper trail — a replacement report and the serial numbers of the old and new battery. The class surveyor will check it at the next survey. We provide a full set of documents, including the battery certificate.
No product photo — does that mean it is out of stock?
No. Items with an SVG diagram (no real photo) are still goods physically held in stock. They simply have not been photographed yet for various reasons (an unsorted batch, a recent arrival). On request we will send real photos of the specific unit. Such items carry a short badge (“On request”, “Limited”, “Partner reserve” etc.) — rare units; availability is confirmed in our reply to your request.
How to order order?

In the letter: the desired items (SKU number), quantity, name of the vessel / object, details (TIN / BIN of the organization), city and delivery address, contact person. Answer within a working day.
