Which course repeater to choose
All three models take a course in NMEA-0183 and are compatible with sequential output gyrocompass systems (including the Tokyo Keiki TG-8000 / TG-8100), with a magnetic compass through a sensor and with satellite compasses. The difference is in the way it's shown:

Rule of choice: if the position is planned bearings - only 19-F; if you need a universal watch post - CF-3; if there is little space or a reserve - CF-5. Often on the ship take a bundle: 19-F on the wing + CF-5 in the card.
