When choosing a NAB-1000, you often look at the location for the main unit, and leave the screen question for editing. As a result, the display has to be installed inconveniently or change the cable route. Divide the task into two places: where to service the transceiver and where the operator to work with a separate MKD. It is this approach that helps to order a set of suitable composition.
A quotation with a screen, not a single block
Our RUB 165,000 kit includes the NAB-1000 and MKD 7. The statement also includes NGA100 with 10 m cable, NVA100 with 10 m mount and cable, GNSS bracket, 3 m data cable and power supply cable 2 m. These positions are consistent with one order. The photo of the transceiver shows only one of the delivery elements.
The manufacturer display may refer to additional accessories. Therefore, the quotation is correctly compared by the same composition: a block with a screen and antennas cannot be considered a direct price analogue of a separate transceiver. If part of the equipment is already available, write its exact models - the modified set will be calculated separately.
Two points of placement on the same plane
To prepare the order, a sketch with dimensions is enough: the location of the MKD, the location of the block, cable inputs and the estimated paths to the antennas. Show where you will need maintenance connectors and equipment removal. In a small post, the ability to approach the back wall is more important than saving a few centimeters on the front panel.
- Measure the route of the cable with turns and inputs, not a straight line between points.
- Separately indicate which areas are outside and which are inside the premises.
- Show power supply and existing connectivity.
- List the external devices with which you intend to exchange data.
If the three-meter data cable is short for your placement, this must be addressed in the specification. We do not promise arbitrary extension or connection by any suitable wire: the requirements are determined by the documentation and the specific line.
How to take a set with a separate MKD
In the reception sheet, enter lines for both blocks. Check accessories, cable lengths, mounts and documents before handing over equipment to installers. It is useful to immediately assign who keeps the passports and who is responsible for entering the initial data when the system is put into operation. These actions do not replace the presence of an image on the display.
NAB-1000 is classified as a Class B. A separate screen does not turn it into a Class A station, nor does it confirm its suitability for any vessel. If the equipment is selected to replace the current AIS, the class and applicability must be agreed before the price is selected.
What to indicate in the request
Write down whether you need all the described kit, attach a sketch of the post and inform the city of receipt. For example, to send to Novosibirsk and for a project in St. Petersburg, you will need the same exact composition, but the packaging and transportation route may differ. The delivery time and cost are calculated by order; there is no fixed promise for any city.

Can I order another cable line?
Hand over the actual lengths of the tracks and a list of saved parts. The change in composition and the final price are agreed separately.
Does the screen make the NAB-1000 an A-class analog?
Nope. The station class does not vary from the display; applicability is determined by the task and requirements of the particular vessel.

Operator screen and serviced unit in different workplaces
When equipping a tugboat on the Volga or a service boat on the Caspian Sea, it is first determined where the operator should see the information and where the main unit will be placed. These are two related parts of the same project: access to service should not be confused with ease of observation. The statement notes the display, the main device and the required connections.
For repairs in Astrakhan or Nizhny Novgorod, a panel scheme and a list of preserved elements are useful. If there are several sides in the purchase, the differences in placement are fixed separately: the same NAB-1000 does not make the cable tracks and installation accessories the same. This approach allows you to compare the working configurations without transferring the solution of one vessel to the entire fleet.
