DR-309: How a digital course becomes an arrow
The DR-309 is a two-scale stepping directional repeater Unicont. He takes a course from gyro-indicators and gyrocompass in the form of NMEA-quotation and shows it with a potato arrow - the same "live" as on the main gyro-instrument. The watch reads the course from an additional post, without turning to the main compass: on the running bridge it is both reaction speed and safety.
The ability to relay data, protection and accessories is verified using the documentation of the specific configuration DR-309. The connection is performed by specialists after checking the interfaces and power supply. The presence of protection does not mean that an erroneous connection is permissible.
According to the configuration, the device is designed for marine work: power supply from 10 to 36 V DC, the operating range from -20 to +55 ° C, IP22 housing protection, dimensions 144 × 115 × 137 mm with a weight of about 2 kg - is placed on the dashboard or in the control post.
NGR-3000: coordinates and navigation data

The path angle according to the movement data should not be confused with the true course of the nasal line. NGR-3000 does not become a gyrocompass: if a consumer needs a heading sensor signal, its source and line agree separately.
To replace, first make a list of consumers coordinates and required data. Then check interfaces, messages, settings, antenna, cables and power supply. The specified characteristics of the main unit and antenna may vary; transfer protection and temperature range of one part to the entire set is impossible.
How two devices work together
The heading sensor and the GNSS receiver solve different tasks. The course is transmitted to the relevant consumers through consistent interfaces; coordinates and navigation data are provided by GNSS. Having a common name for NMEA doesn’t confirm that all devices are compatible. For each device, the purpose of information, inputs and required messages are checked, and the final connection scheme is compiled according to documentation.
Status and delivery
The condition, availability, availability and warranty conditions are confirmed in the quotation. The DR-309 card on this site refers to a recovery part; it cannot be considered a finished repeater without separate approval. For the NGR-3000, the composition and documents are recorded in the specification of a particular order, rather than derived from the generic model name.
